The Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences (DIAS): The purpose of seed science at DIAS is to provide new knowledge about the interaction between crop development and production environment. Furthermore, to implement this knowledge in new technologies to optimize yield and product quality of field and garden seed crop.

Grønt Center’s objective is to create new options for production, competitiveness, employment and earning powers in the agricultural industry plus affiliated industries. This is gained by research and development within production of new plant species and alternative usage of known plant species.

Næsgaard School of Agriculture is part of CEUS - Centre for Erhverv og Uddannelse Storstrøm. CEUS is a modern centre of training and education for young people and adults with a desire to learn and study. CEUS offers education within the technical, the commercial and the agricultural worlds, and at many levels, e.g. upper secondary education, advanced and further education.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation finances 50% of Frøvækst Øst. Furthermore, the project is sponsored by the Directorate for Food, Fisheries and Agri Business, the counties Vestsjælland and Storstrøm together with local companies.
