Nitrogen (calculation) - Application per hectare

The purpose with this tool is to improve the economic yield for seed producers by optimizing the ratio between applied nitrogen in autumn and spring. However, the calculated values cannot alone determine the amount of applied nitrogen, but as an assisting tool for the seed producer and seed consultant may contribute to an increased economic yield for the seed producer.

By entering the known or expected price for seed and nitrogen (DKK per kg) the model calculates the economic optimal amount of nitrogen in autumn and spring (kg nitrogen per hectare). Included in the formula is application of nitrogen DKK 105 per hectare.

Please note that nitrogen norms have not been included in calculating the economic optimal nitrogen application for autumn and spring.
